About Us

Four On The Floor started as a dream in garage. A few close clients, a rickety fence, and a hope for something that would one day be incredible -a place, where a dog could be a dog. Through hard work and incredible relationships with our clients, Four on the Floor has expanded to its current location, with no sign of stopping, as Airdrie’s Premier K-9 facility!

All the staff are totally passionate, skilled, and dedicated to dogs.

Rhonda Labas, Owner, Trainer, Groomer, and Canine Behaviour Modification Specialist

Check out Rhonda's credentials!

From beginning her career in the small town of White Court as a dog groomer to now owning and operating her own daycare facility, Rhonda has spent 25 years expanding and perfecting her craft.

She has innate sense of responsibility for troubled canines and her passion for rehabilitation is palpable. Rhonda has devoted countless hours speaking on behalf of those who cannot, with special attention focused on the commonly misunderstood bully breeds. She has an impressive list of fosters under her belt, all of who are now good canine citizens.

Rhonda has achieved her groomer certification ensuring that your pooch returns to you pampered and perfect looking after every visit. Her skills at rehabilitation carry through to her grooming, where she spends countless hours working ceaselessly to ensure timid, fearful, phobic, and even aggressive animals are slowly coaxed into a calmer state of being so that their experience can turn into a pleasant one.

Rhonda continues her education through online courses and seminars and hands on workshops with world renowned trainers, to bring you the most advanced and cutting edge techniques for creating and solidifying the bond between you and your canine. She has received her diploma as Trainer / Educator; Diploma in Canine Behaviour, and an impressive list of certifications in grooming, training and even a behaviour course on chickens!

Rhonda is currently in the process of launching her own Canine Education Workshop, as well as a truly in-depth Mentorship program in grooming and training. She believes everyone should have access to programs which will allow them to rehabilitate their dogs safely and responsibly, into exceptional family and community pets.

Rhonda has a unique and familiar way with her clients, making them feel relaxed and welcome, creating a very family friendly environment.

Through her hard work and dedication to her craft, Rhonda has managed to etch out and thrive as Airdrie’s Premier Canine Facility!

Rhonda’s "fur family" includes Rue (golden retriever) Capone (pit bull) and Wee Man Pocket (pocket pit-bull), though this list does not do justice to her extended "fur family", whom she has “adopted” over the years. She enjoys spending her spare time working with her pooches, working with horses and spending time with her family.
